Last December saw the digital release of A Very Lonely Solstice, a 13-track career spanning collection recorded in December 2020, at Brooklyn, NY’s St. The live show will feature Robin Pecknold joined by Skyler Skjelset (multi-instrumentalist, vocals), Casey Wescott (multi-instrumentalist, vocals), Christian Wargo (multi-instrumentalist, vocals), and Morgan Henderson (multi-instrumentalist). This will mark the band’s return to live shows since 2018 following the end of its world tour in support of the 2017 album Crack-Up. Praised by critics upon release, Shore topped year-end lists securing spots in the top 5 in Uncut, 6Music, Mojo, Uproxx, and placing on numerous lists including The New Yorker, NPR, Pitchfork, USA Today, Stereogum, Rolling Stone, and more stateside. This is the second nomination for the band, whose sophomore release Helplessness Blues was nominated for Best Folk Album in 2012.

This 2022 show will mark the first time the full band will perform songs from its critically acclaimed fourth studio album Shore, released on Anti- in 2020 and currently nominated for the 64th GRAMMY Awards in the category of Best Alternative Music Album. In May this year, the band made their live return at the Wilma Theatre in Missoula, in which they performed nine songs from new album Crack-Up. The line-up is currently completed by Morgan Henderson (woodwind, strings), who joined in 2010. Founding members Robin Pecknold (lead vocals/guitar), Skyler Skjelset (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Casey Wescott (keyboards, mandolin, vocals) and Christian Wango (bass, guitar) have remained throughout. The band has seen several changes to its line-up over the last decade. Their second album, Helplessness Blues, followed in 2011 and reached similar success, going gold in the UK and earning them a Grammy nomination in the US. Seattle-based indie folk band Fleet Foxes first came onto the scene in 2008 with their self-titled debut album, bringing them widespread acclaim and earning them platinum status in the UK and landing them atop numerous year-end best-of lists.


Fleet Foxes are coming to the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks this Summer on the 28 August 2022.
